The amazing summer of 2022
The summer of 2022 has broken many records, the highest temperature ever recorded (over 40 degrees) , the joint hottest since records began in 1884 (the other was 2018) and the driest since 1976. Clearly a worry for those that track these things and for farmers in particular, but from a photographic standpoint, something that I felt I must record and where ever I went, London resembled the savannah rather than our green and pleasant land.
