What to see in March & early Spring

As nature wakes up from its winter slumber, the birds start to sing and the blossom appears.

And the insects start to appear

Frogs miraculously appear from the undergrowth and enter our ponds to breed

Birds begin to look for a mate and start nesting

Magnolias show off their magnificence

Rowing reaches its zenith with The Heads of the River races, followed by The Boat Race the next weekend, just before Easter.

Two of my favourite spring flowers are Ladysmock and Pussy Willow
