Photographic Tip Number 4 - Black and White saves the day

Black and White saves the day

Someone like myself, who relies on the weather most of the time, can often be frustrated by pitching up somewhere only for the weather to let you down. A little tip, if the light isn’t right, you can sometimes salvage the effort who have put in by turning your image into a black and white one. Its very easy to do. All phones have an app for just such a thing (plus, there’s always Photoshop and other applications you can use on your desktop) and by playing with the contrast, you can often produce something very striking. Another plus, being neutral, it means that black and white pictures are very popular, as they fit into any colour scheme.

If you enjoy photography and would like some help, I run a local group and I can also arrange for some one to one tuition, if you’d prefer. So do please get in touch if you’d like to know more.
